What happens when a storm becomes a cyclone?
Can you see it? The lighthouse on the rocks, being battered by the storm.
Keeping ships safe. Holding the space for the sailors to make their way home safely. To thrive.
Do you ever feel like you are that lighthouse? 🙋🏻♀️
That life is a swirling chaotic mess and yet somehow you find the strength to stand strong. 💛
I am the light house; you may be too.
I have always enjoyed supporting others to thrive. Children, partners, friends and colleagues.
It is what I do best.
It is my happy place.
So, what happens when that storm becomes a cyclone?
Building a company.
Supporting teens, some with complex needs.
Building a home.
Building a family.
Building a team.
When you have big dreams, and your husband does too.
When you are giving the environment a voice.
When the storm keeps smashing you all on the rocks.
When it feels like you could be pulled under by all of it.
How do we keep the lighthouse safe?
♾️I had to learn that this was the work.♾️
Keeping the lighthouse safe.
Life is seasons, remembering that.
This too shall pass.
Trusting.
Looking within and listening.
I taught myself how to listen to the voice. The one that knows the next step.
I taught myself how to trust that voice.
I taught myself how to trust myself.
How to like me too.
Lighthouses need support, maintenance and care.
Without them all is lost at sea.
We know that with the storm comes the rainbow.🌈
But learning to trust myself,
Learning to trust the lessons, to pay attention and to learn them.
Building a support network.
Communicating my needs.
Creating a strong base for the lighthouse to stand on.
This was key.🔑
The storms will come.
The storms will pass.
Trust that.
You have what it takes to guide.
But to do that, the lighthouse must stay sturdy.
Protect and nurture the lighthouse, no matter how many waves are rolling in.💛
With love,
